KYLIAN MBAPPE’s mum has surprisingly revealed her son was obsessed by AC Milan as a child.

Fayza Lamari, who is Mbappe‘s agent as well as his mother, has represented the Frenchman since he broke through as a teenager.

And she has now opened up about what he was like as a boy in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

One of the most intriguing revelations was that he was a huge fan of Milan.

PSG take on the seven-time European champions in Paris on Wednesday evening.

But that did not deter Fayza from explaining her son’s previous infatuation with the Serie A club.

She said: “When he came home, he only ever talked about Milan.

“If they lost, he would throw the remote control at the television and shout insults in Italian.”

Mbappe, 24, thrived during the international break with three goals and one assists in France’s two internationals.

He then added to that by dispatching a penalty in PSG’s 3-0 win over Strasbourg at the weekend.

The result leaves them third in Ligue 1, two points adrift of table toppers Monaco.

Luis Enrique’s men still need to bounce back in the Champions League following their 4-1 defeat to Newcastle last time out.

PSG lost in the final to Bayern Munich in 2020, before reaching the last four in the following campaign.

But since then they have been knocked out in the last 16 in each of the past two seasons.
