Speaking to MailOnline, the now dad-of-six admits the affair left him pondering a move to Bayern Munich just to get out of the UK.

Kyle, who turns 34 next week, said: “That was a moment in my personal life that I felt I wanted to move away from England and it was nothing to do with footballing reasons.

“It was something personal to me where I thought that taking a break from England might have been right for me.

“But first and foremost I have to think about the football.

“It’s what I love doing and I felt that come the end of it I would be a lot happier at Manchester City than I would at Bayern Munich.”

Kyle fathered Kairo with Lauryn Goodman in April 2020 during a short relationship when he was temporarily split from his wife Annie Kilner.

A bitter row ensued as Lauryn, 33, branded Annie a “wicked stepmother” trying to “eradicate” her son’s existence in a social media post.

Annie took Kyle back and the pair – who now have four sons together – got married in November 2021.

In March last year, Lauryn revealed she was expecting her second child – and kept tight-lipped about her daughter’s paternity, only revealing he “is a footballer”.

At the time, Annie was heavily pregnant with her and Kyle’s fourth boy, Rezon.

The footballer carried the tot onto pitch at the Etihad Stadium ahead of City’s league-winning game against West Ham this weekend.

Last month, pals claimed Lauryn gave Kyle three ultimatums to keep their love child a secret.

One friend told MailOnline: “He wasn’t allowed to buy a bigger house with Annie and the kids and he couldn’t have another baby with Annie.

“She also wanted him to put his money in a trust fund so she could have an equal share and continue getting what he was already paying her if it came out.”

Lauryn denied making such demands but has since taken a fresh swipe at Kyle, claiming Kairo now asks: “Where is my daddy?”

In an extraordinary Boxing Day showdown, Lauryn messaged Annie to tell her Kyle was the dad of her second baby.

Tearful Annie confronted the Man City full-back and the pair argued before she ordered him to leave the family home.

But earlier this month she welcomed her shamed hubby back into the marital home.

Annie has allegedly warned Lauryn to “stay away” from the Euros in Germany next month over fears she could damage England’s chances.

But Lauryn is determined to take the defender’s two kids to the tournament.
