Kyle Walker leaves Love Island star confused as he reveals Ben White and Kalvin Phillips’ antics at Euro 2020

KYLE WALKER left Love Island’s Chris Hughes confused after revealing Ben White and Kalvin Phillips’ antics at the last Euros.

The former Leeds pair were part of England’s 2021 squad for the delayed European championship.

But neither have been selected for the upcoming competition in Germany.

And he revealed that White and Phillips battled boredom by watching several films a day.

He said: “Ben White and Kalvin Phillips in the Euros, I think they were trying to watch like four films a day or three films a day.”

Hughes then asked: “What, as like a bet or just?”

Walker then explained: “I don’t know what they were doing but they’d go into Ben White’s room or Kalvin’s room and it’d be like, ‘It’s movie night.’

“You know, and they try and watch as many films as they can in the day. I don’t know how many they went through. But it was ridiculous.

“It’s about filling time, innit? Obviously you’ve got your training session that lasts for probably two hours.

“Then you might do a little bit of gym. And then after that it’s like, ‘What do we do to fill this time?’

“So the lads are just creating games up. It could be penny to the wall just to fill time.

“Last time, they got some dogs in and they were like, ‘Does anyone want to pet these dogs?’

“The lads are always up to, you know, creating banter. Sometimes we are kids running around just trying to cause mischief and fill time.”

Phillips was a regular under Gareth Southgate but following a lack of game time at City he was axed from the squad.
