Kalvin Phillips handed career lifeline with Galatasaray open to transfer after horror loan spell and position change
MANCHESTER CITY flop Kalvin Phillips is a target for Turkey’s Galatasaray.
The Premier League champions want to find a club for the midfielder, 28, who has struggled since his £45million move to the Etihad in July 2022.

Phillips’ loan spell with West Ham in the second half of last season was a disaster and City have had few enquiries about him this summer.
Reports suggest Everton have shown initial interest – but the 31-time capped England star is open to resurrecting his career abroad.
Italian side Roma, Germans RB Leipzig and their Austrian sister club RB Salzburg have all been linked with moves for Phillips.
And now Galatasaray have joined the race after supposedly seeing a below par £12.6million offer for Manchester United’s Scott McTominay rejected.
The Turkish giants won the league last year, pipping Fenerbahce to the title by amassing an incredible 102 points in 38 games.
It means they will compete in the Champions League once again this season.
Last term, they were drawn in Man Utd‘s group, beating them 3-2 before a thrilling 3-3 draw in the return fixture.
Meanwhile, on City’s pre-season tour, Pep Guardiola used Phillips as a centre-back in the friendly with Barcelona on Wednesday.
