Luiz, 26, has emerged as a key target for Motta and Co this summer – but he won’t come cheap.
Villa are one of a number of Premier League clubs that need to raise funds through player sales before the end of the month due to Profit and Sustainability regulations.
As they look to bolster their ranks ahead of a campaign in the Champions League, while staying within PSR rules, Villa could flog Luiz to Juventus in a part-exchange deal.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the two clubs have held talks regarding a potential deal.
It was initially reported that Juve could include midfielder Weston McKennie in the deal.
In a further sweetener for Unai Emery‘s men, it’s now claimed that the Old Lady would also be willing to part with English wonderkid Samuel Iling-Junior.
McKennie, 25, has Premier League experience – having played 20 times for Leeds after joining on loan in January 2023.
Upon his return to Juventus he became a regular in their side once again, appearing 34 times in Serie A last term.

Luiz was strongly linked with Arsenal during the summer of 2022, only to pen a new contract with Villa in October of that year following a failed deadline day switch.
The Gunners have retained an interest in him since, but could be pipped by Juventus to his signature.
Luiz joined Villa from Manchester City in 2019, and has gone on to make 204 appearances for them.
Last season was a particularly productive one, during which he managed to bag nine goals and five assists in the Premier League.
In addition to Luiz, Juventus are chasing deals for Serie A stars Teun Koopmeiners, Michele Di Gregorio and Riccardo Calafiori.
Villa, meanwhile, could replace Luiz with Tottenham star Giovani Lo Celso.
SunSport revealed last week that Emery’s men are interested in the Argentine, who worked with the Villa boss at Villarreal.
