Juan Mata names one Man Utd player Jim Ratcliffe should build team around saying ‘I can’t tell you how important he is’

Fernandes has often produced the goods in terms of workrate, goals and assists since he joined the club in 2020.
But has come under fire due to occasional tantrums that see him lashing out at his teammates instead of instilling composure as skipper.
However, the playmaker has the backing of his former midfield partner Mata.
The Spaniard told ESPN: “I can tell you that for me, there is a great leader in there right now, which is the captain, Bruno.
“I should tell to all young players to look up to him. I cannot tell you how important he is for the club.
“And not only because of what he’s done in the last games, scoring two goals and winning the game against Sheffield United.
“But his consistency within the years that he’s been playing for the club is just incredible.
“He’s a top, top player, but he’s even better as a person. So for me, the culture of the club should be built around him.”
Fernandes took matters into his own hands by scoring twice in Wednesday’s 4-2 victory over Sheffield United

United could make as many as 11 players available this summer as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to transform the club.
Mata was at United for almost a decade before leaving in 2022.
Now though, he’s back in a United shirt to promote the pre-season tour in what seems like an ambassadorial role.
The former World Cup winner with Spain also backed United forward Marcus Rashford to rediscover his best form following a difficult campaign.
The England international has been unable to match the 17 Premier League goals he bagged last season.
