Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong’s first game for Bayer Leverkusen ended in a disappointing defeat to lower-tier side Rot-Weiss Essen.Frimpong replaced goalscorer Leon Bailey in the 114th minute but just three minutes after coming on the hosts leveled Oguzhan Kefkir.Rot-Weiss Essen then snatched the winner with three minutes of extra time left through forward Simon Engelmann.Jeremie Frimpong joined Bayer 04 in the winter transfer window from Scottish giants Celtics.The 20-year-old could make his Bundesliga debut against Stuttgart on Saturday.
