‘It was very strange’ – Judd Trump moans over something he’s ‘never experienced before’ in Players Championship final
JUDD TRUMP has bizarrely claimed he and Kyren Wilson were potting “ping-pong balls” during their Players Championship final.
The Ace in the Pack fell to a dramatic 10-9 defeat against big rival Wilson on Sunday night.

The World No1 forced a decider against Wilson in a nail-biting contest in Telford.
But he came out second best in the decisive 19th frame, which The Warrior took 69-30.
Following the loss, Trump claimed there were issues with the cue ball used in the final.
Trump told ITV: “It was tricky. It was tricky for both of us.
“The ball was very light and it was taking off like a ping-pong ball. It was a bit strange.”
Wilson walked away £150,000 richer following his win.
But Trump claimed neither player could show their best due to the strange behaviour of the cue ball.
He continued: “The balls were playing a bit tricky, it wasn’t like the rest of the tournament where I was able to play free-flowing.

“I don’t know what the difference was today.
“It was very, very strange and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that before in a tournament.
“It was a good tournament and I’ll look forward to the next tournament.
“We weren’t able to play our best, but there was some drama in the decider.
“Well done to Kyren and his family. I want to thank everyone for coming out to support us. It has been a great event.”

“That is what spurs me on to keep practising and performing at the highest level.
