The luxurious pad sits on the fourth floor of The Beresford, an elegant apartment building designed by architect Emery Roth.

The residence consists of two units, one of which used to be owned by McEnroe, 64.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion sold the co-op for $3.1 million in 2013.

It’s gone through major renovation work since and expanded into a spacious, high-ceiling apartment with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The pad features a semi-private elevator, a gallery, and an entertainment area, according to the listing.

Big noise-limiting windows ensure the interior is well-lit while the quarter-sawn oak flooring adds a classy touch.

The living room comes with soundproof walls for piano enthusiasts while the library contains floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.

The primary bedroom boasts its own wing and an intimate bath ensuite – and offers wonderful views of Central Park’s east and north sides.

Meanwhile, the kitchen is every foodie’s dream, providing ample working space, sleek cabinets, and a vast array of cooking appliances.

The Beresford is well-known among A-listers with Diana Ross, Meryl Streep, Jerry Seinfeld, and Diane Sawyer previously living in the building.

Meanwhile, New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez purchased a unit in 2022.

“What’s great about the Beresford is that it’s a building full of intellectuals and creatives of all stripes, from Fortune 500 CEOs to the creator of Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster,” said Daniel Douglas of The Corcoran Group, who holds the listing with Eileen LaMorte.

“While it’s undoubtedly a prestigious address, designed by the great Emery Roth, it’s open-minded and not stuffy.

“I like to call the scale of its rooms ‘approachable grandeur’ as they are grand but livable spaces, any bigger would be too much.”
