In-form Brighton star Solly March set to join Adam Lallana and Moises Caicedo in signing new contract
SOLLY MARCH is set to follow Adam Lallana and Moises Caicedo by signing a new deal at Brighton.
The Seagulls winger, 28, is in the form of his life with seven goals and four assists in the Premier League this season, including Wednesday’s winner against rivals Crystal Palace.
Solly March could join two other key men in extending his stay at The AmexRex
Asked about his match-winner following the game, boss Roberto De Zerbi said: “I think he needs confidence in himself and he’s playing a fantastic season.
“He is improving in the final 20-10 metres.
“I think he deserves to play in the national team but it’s only my opinion.”
The wideman missed out on Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
But all eyes are on getting Brighton into Europe as well as reaching the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend.
March’s existing deal, signed in 2021, was set to run until next summer.
And the No7 is the latest star name to extend their stay at The Amex.
Lallana sealed a one-year extension on the south coast last week despite being out with a hamstring injury.

And Caicedo penned a deal until 2027 just over a month after publicly pleading to leave for Arsenal.
It comes after Brighton CEO Paul Barber admitted Caicedo had his “head turned” in the Gunners’ failed transfer-deadline hunt.
Barber told talkSPORT: “Moises, to his absolute credit, has got his head down, worked hard and he is happy around the club again. He is a very good footballer.
“There was never a moment in the window when we felt we needed or wanted to sell Moises.
“He needed an arm around the shoulder and a bit of support. We know his head was turned, and we know why.”
