‘I’m pig-sick of it’ – Rob Cross admits he is ‘annoyed’ after Premier League Darts Night Seven

ROB CROSS admits he is pig-sick of delivering “sexy darts” before picking up his golden arrows.
The World No.4 has produced a stunning nine-darter and 170 finish over the past three weeks in the Premier League.

Cross, Luke Humphries and Luke Littler will be given their £30,000 golden darts from title sponsor BetMGM in Newcastle on Thursday night for hitting perfect legs recently.
Voltage faces Gerwyn Price in the quarters but he’s still yet to win a PL night and it’s starting to annoy the ex-World Champ.
He revealed: “I’ve not even seen a picture of the golden darts so it will be a surprise for me as everyone else.
“I’ve just got to make sure I don’t drop them before I play!
“To be honest, I want to just win a night now. I’m doing all the sexy darts stuff but not staying consistent after that.
“To hit a nine and then the Big Fish and not win on the night is annoying. I’m pig-sick of it to be honest.
“My form has been brilliant lately but I want something to show for it.
“It’s nice to do the big moments and send the crowds wild. I love that, it’s what playing the game is all about.

“But I want to win nights, I want to get up the league table. No one will remember the nine and 170 if I don’t make finals night at the O2.”
Voltage sits in fifth place in the Premier League, two behind Price. That makes it a crunch clash in the race for the top four.
He added: “It is frustrating because I need to get that night win to push me into the top four.
“Gerwyn has been playing really well, at times better than anyone else so I’ll need to hit the ground running.
“He’ll be so fired-up. To be fair there’s no easy matches. It’s just making sure the best version of me turns up. I’m my own worst enemy!”
