I’m boss of the UFC and this is the fighter I’d pick to fight for my life – he’d even beat Mike Tyson
DANA WHITE has seen some of the toughest men and women in the world come and go during his UFC tenure.
White has been at the helm of MMA‘s top promotion since 2001 when he was appointed president by the Fertitta brothers.

The 54-year-old has somewhat become partially immune to the brutality of the fight game after consuming hundreds, if not thousands, of fights in person.
All of the combatants who have competed in the octagon during White’s reign have earned his respect.
But there’s one only fighter – who still competes to this day – he’d call upon to fight for his life.
When posed the question by Sun columnist Piers Morgan, White said: “I mean Jon Jones who’s in the UFC still has never been beat.
“This guy has beat everybody and when you talk about real fighting, you know when you talk about who ‘The Baddest man on the Planet’ is.
“The real definition of what that means is you throw two guys in a room [and see] who comes out.
“Thats ‘The Baddest man on the Planet’.
“And it’s hard to say that Jon Jones is not that guy right now.”

Morgan’s choice was boxing legend and former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, who is a good friend of White’s.
Iron Mike is held in the highest regard by White, who has twice appeared on the iconic heavyweight’s podcast.
But his lack of wrestling or jiu-jitsu skills means former UFC pound-for-pound king Jones is White’s go-to fighter to save his life.
“Tyson doesn’t know the ground game,” White pointed out. “Tyson can’t grapple.”
“Tyson is hanging over here, his quote is on the wall over here.
“Nobody loves Mike Tyson more than I do, believe me.
“But when you talk about putting two guys in a room, and who comes out, Jon Jones has the tools to beat everybody.”
Former long-reigning light-heavyweight champion Jones will look to further cement his legacy in November at the UFC’s historic 30th anniversary card.
The current 265lbs king will look to walk away from the sport with a victory over the consensus greatest heavyweight of all time – Stipe Miocic – at UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden.
