Blake, 47, netted a super goal in Burnley‘s famous 1-0 win over the Red Devils in 2009.
The retired midfielder ran onto a dropping ball and fired a powerful volley past Ben Foster and crashed into the goal.
The goal was Burnley’s first ever in the Premier League as it was the club’s first season in England’s top flight for 33 years.
He is now managing Bognor Regis in the seventh tier of English football.
Blake joined the coaching staff at the club in 2018 as the first-team coach.
The goal he scored nine years earlier helped the Clarets to their first win back in the big time.
However, it came at a cost to the player as he missed out on swapping shirts with Man United legend Ryan Giggs.
The Welshman had promised his jersey to the midfielder but retracted the offer after losing the game.

Blake’s memories have not faded from the game as he spoke about the clash to SunSport.
He admitted that it was “amazing” to silence the club’s critics at the time that suggested that Burnley woudl struggle to score goals.
“To play United in the club’s first Premier League home game is what dreams are made of — and the atmosphere was amazing.
“In the tunnel before the game, I was asking Ryan Giggs if I could have his shirt at full-time and he said I could have it, provided they didn’t lose.
They were champions and arguably the best team in the world, with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and Giggs. We’d lost our first game at Stoke, so to beat United was incredible.
“All the so-called experts had been saying they had no idea where our first point would come from and they didn’t see how we would score goals, so to listen to all that baloney and then silence them was amazing.
“Our boss Owen Coyle had instilled belief in us, so we thought we were capable of doing it.”
