DANIEL Bryan is one of the most prolific champions the WWE has ever seen.

Bryan Lloyd Danielson, better known as Daniel Bryan in the ring, competed in the WWE for 12 years.

Before being known as the high-flying four-time champion, the now 42-year-old started at the bottom.

Bryan’s parents divorced over his father’s alcoholism, making matters tough for his mother when he was a child.

To help the family, he and his sister both delivered newspapers for children and later worked at McDonald’s as teenagers.

Bryan worked up front as a cashier and swept floors to clock his shifts.

The once vegan even admittedly lived off a fast food diet while working at the chain restaurant.

He was also working in hopes of saving up for his wrestling education, eventually doing so and landing in the WWF, now known as the WWE.

Speaking on wrestling, he said: “My mind thinks in wrestling.

“As I’m thinking of things and my mind is being creative, it constantly keeps going back to wrestling.”

With the WWE, Bryan became a renowned four-time title holder and was the leader of the Yes! Movement.

He most notably won the World Heavyweight Championship, defeating Randy Orton and Batista.

He captured the United States and Intercontinental Championships and the WWE Tag Team Championship, too.

In 2014, Bryan married the now-retired WWE Diva Brie Garcia.

Today, Bryan is a wrestler for All Elite Wrestling.

Unfortunately, the star will be out for quite some time nursing an arm injury.

He released on Instagram in July: “About to sit and watch #AEWDynamite, and thought I’d give an update on my arm.

“I got surgery about two weeks ago, where they put a steel rod and nine screws in my arm.

“Surgery went well, and now I’m on the road to recovery.”
