‘If I’m Harry Kane, I’m PUKING’ – Tottenham ace must be jealous watching Erling Haaland at Man City, claims Man Utd icon
HARRY KANE must be “puking” watching Erling Haaland bang goals in for Manchester City, claims Rio Ferdinand.
The Tottenham talisman was heavily linked with a move to the Etihad in the summer of 2021, only for City to fail to meet Spurs’ £150million asking price.

Pep Guardiola’s side instead dropped £100m on Jack Grealish, before waiting a year and signing Haaland for £51m.
Kane, 29, has had a good start to the Prem season – banging in eight goals in nine games.
But his tally has been dwarfed by that of Haaland, the Norwegian managing an astonishing 20 strikes in 12 competitive appearances.
Ferdinand, 43, reckons Kane must be looking at the City star green with envy.

Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, the former Manchester United star said: “If I were City before Haaland came, I would have taken Kane.
“Kane’s a goal scorer, he’s a killer, he’s as cold as you get. In any era he scores goals.
“I think he would have been brilliant at Man City. If I’m him, I’m absolutely puking up in my own mouth and trying not to swallow it when I’m watching Haaland now.
“Because I’m thinking that could have been me.”

Quizzed if City would have won last season’s Champions League with Kane in their side, Rio replied: “I think it gets them closer.
“That was a moment for Harry Kane to go and say ‘what I’ve done at Tottenham can never be discredited, it’s my home, it’s my place of love’ and no one would have been disgruntled if he went to City.
“It was there for the taking, I don’t know how it happened from all parties. He must be so sick.
“If I’m Kane I’m sitting there going wild, I know he could end up with a trophy this year.
“But sitting watching he’ll be like ‘look at what City are doing right now and Haaland is just eating people. I could have been the guy on the end of all those chances’.”
I’m focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do my best for us
Harry Kane
After a period of disgruntlement under Nuno Espirito Santo, Kane has returned to form and happiness since Antonio Conte’s arrival at Spurs.
Kane has been linked with Bayern Munich, but insists he’s focused on what he can do at Spurs.
He said earlier today: “I’m focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do my best for us.
“For sure Bayern are a top, top club.
“But all my concentration is on Tottenham and trying to win tomorrow night.”
Haaland, meanwhile, reportedly has a £175.5m release clause that will come into effect in 2024.
The Norwegian has already attracted plenty of admirers since moving to City – but is very happy at the Etihad.
