FLAVIUS TITUS (4.40 Thirsk, nap)
He’s named after a Roman emperor and looked imperious when winning at Pontefract before dead-heating at Newcastle. Danny Brooke’s veteran should really have won at Gosforth Park but came from too far back. He can strike again here with Kyle McHugh taking off a handy 5lb.
BELL SHOT (8.32 Haydock, nb)
There was a lot to like about his win at Beverley 10 days ago when he ran them ragged off the front. That was over this trip and a 5lb penalty won’t stop him. Trainer Mick Appleby is in good form and can strike again.
CITY OF DELIGHT (8.16 Newmarket, treble)
He has won his last two nicely, including over course and distance last time out. He is best over this trip and a 5lb rise in the weights is fine. He goes on any ground and can land the hat-trick under Rossa Ryan.
MR FANTASTIC (7.25 Haydock, Lucky 15)
He looked a certain future winner when third on debut at Hamilton last time. He was green there and will come on a bundle for the outing.
