He has been found a good opportunity by canny trainer Tony Carroll. He has been in fine form on the all-weather and has been knocking on the door at Lingfield. He has gone well on this tricky track before and his rider’s 5lb claim will come in handy.
AYR POET (4.15 Ayr, nb)
Jim Goldie’s veteran loves his trips to the coast and has an impressive five wins at the track. This trip suits and he looks on a very handy weight.
MUTAMANNI (3.00 Brighton, treble)
He took a big step up from his debut when second at Ayr last time and has enough pace for this drop to the minimum trip.
PINPOINT (9.00 Wetherby, Lucky 15)
He scored well at Ayr in April and was really unlucky not to follow up at Redcar. He tripped coming out of the stalls and did well to recover and finish a close third.
