HIGH POINT (4.25 Sandown, nap)
He was more than useful for Eve Johnson Houghton last season and signed off the campaign with a convincing handicap success at Newmarket in October. We didn’t see him again until 14 days ago when he blew away the cobwebs with a quiet sixth on the sand at Kempton. The yard is in flying form and champion jockey elect Oisin Murphy takes over today which is always a plus.
HOLD A DREAM (2.30 Yarmouth, nb)
She showed promise when second on debut at Sandown last month and was beaten in a head-bobber at Newbury last time. She relished the step up to this distance there and is capable of going one better.
UMBRIA (5.00 Sandown, treble)
She had no luck in running when third on handicap debut at Kempton. It was a good effort to go down by less than a length and the second in that race has scored since.
ESTRANGE (3.30 Yarmouth, Lucky 15)
She cost £425,000 and made a winning start by five lengths at Goodwood last time out.
