KNIGHT TEMPLAR (4.20 Nottingham, nap)
It’s not often a horse improves 10lb for leaving Sir Mark Prescott but Robert Stephens has worked wonders with the three-year-old. He made a winning debut for him at Ffos Los in August and followed up on his first try of the trip at Haydock last month. A 6lb rise for that success is far from harsh and with further improvement surely on the cards, he will be tough to beat under Jason Watson, who takes over in the saddle.
ELLADONNA (4.55 Nottingham, nb)
Game winner at Salisbury two starts ago when still looking far from the finished article. She only went up 3lb for that success and was unlucky not to follow up at Haydock when not getting a clear run. William Buick retains the ride and she can make amends.
KYBER CRYSTAL (3.30 Musselburgh, treble)
As game as they come and deserved a third career win at Hamilton last time. He doesn’t know how to run a bad race and he is building up a great relationship with top claimer Kaiya Fraser. He is penalised for the Hamitlon win, but that shouldn’t be enough to stop him.
