ELMONJED (7.10 Windsor, nap)

William Haggas’ handicapper has been going close in hot handicaps including over course and distance last time where he didn’t get the best of rides. He earlier ran a cracker at York and the first-time blinkers can make the difference.

AYR POET (6.15 Ayr, nb)

Has won the past two runnings of this race and can land the hat-trick. He’s 4lb lower than 12 months ago and went close at Carlisle last time despite having to come from a mile back. He can strike under Paul Mulrennan.

PIRANHA RAMA (5.40 Windsor, treble)

She had plenty in hand when scoring at Ffos Las two runs ago and that form is working out. She was a bit free when a close-up fourth at Donny last time and is better than we saw on Town Moor.

UMBRIA (5.35 Kempton, Lucky 15)

She needed her debut at Goodwood in May and looked a much smarter prospect when scooting on at Wolverhampton last time. She starts handicapping from a fair mark of 66 and has more to offer.
