Horse racing tips: Everything points to Templegate’s NAP landing yet another handicap for the Skeltons

0

TEMPLEGATE takes on Thursday’s racing confident of building the bank for another big weekend of racing.

The Craven Stakes takes pride of place – and you can back a horse by clicking their odds below.

COTTIE (2.40 Cheltenham, nap)

Looks like yet another handicap snip for the canny Skeltons. She has had three quiet runs since joining the yard from Henry De Bromhead in Ireland. This daughter of the great Yeats has dropped 10lb since February and former champion jockey Harry Skelton replaces the amateur who has been on board for this nice prize. Stepping up in trip looks a wise move and she won’t be far away.

EBEN SHADDAD (3.35 Newmarket, nb)

Can take the Craven Stakes. He ran three times at HQ last season, finishing with a good third behind City Of Troy in the Dewhurst. He has plenty of scope to improve and this extra furlong should help too.

GOLDEN ACE (3.50 Cheltenham, nap)

Was brilliant when winning the Dawn Run at the Festival and should have far too much for these rivals. Moving up in trip holds no fears for this improving six-year-old.
