The clash reached boiling point late on with Preston on the ball deep in the Blackburn half.
After briefly being dispossessed, stars from both teams put their bodies on the line in an effort to win the ball.
However, 22-year-old Beck sparked a fury from North End stars when he appeared to viciously kick out at Duane Holmes as he dribbled the ball past him after the ref had blown his whistle.
Milutin Osmajic took huge offence to the act and grabbed on to Beck’s shirt with both hands.
He then moved his hand towards the back of Beck’s neck, with the Rovers defender then swiftly trying to move away after appearing to feel something on his neck.
After being let go, he was then seen holding the back of his neck and telling the ref: “He just bit me.”
