Bolton Magistrates’ Court heard on Wednesday that the centre-back was captured on camera driving his £200,000 SV supercar coming out of a tunnel on Wilmslow Road on March 5 last year.
Prosecutor Karen Allanson said the England international was the registered keeper of the car and admitted being the driver.
Maguire was caught speeding again just two days after the indicent and had since received three penalty points, his solicitor Gwyn Lewis said.
If magistrates had handed the defender six points for the Wilmslow Road offence he could have faced a longer ban.
