Glamorous Premier League Wags steal the show on the red carpet as they support their men at PFA Awards
FOOTBALLERS were able to celebrate a last season’s success at the PFA Awards on Tuesday evening.
However, while many turned out to pick up awards, it was their glamorous partners who stole the show on the red carpet.

Phil Foden picked up the men’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year award after a stunning campaign which saw him play an instrumental role in Manchester City winning their fourth Premier League title in a row.
Foden, 24, was joined on the red carpet by girlfriend Rebecca and son Ronnie at the Manchester event.
The black tie event saw Rebecca in a gorgeous black dress paired with a stunning silver necklace.
Former Manchester City team-mate and Chelsea ace Cole Palmer won the men’s Young Player of the Year award, but was snubbed for the Team of the Year.
A number of stars who did make the cut turned out for the glam evening as well, including strikers Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins.
Haaland’s partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen – who is also a footballer – wore a sleeveless black dress for the ocassion.
Meanwhile, England Euro 2024 hero Ollie Watkins was joined by Ellie Alderson after the couple announced their engagement last month.
Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk had to play umbrella bearer while on the carpet as he was seen covering himself and wife Rike Nooitgedagt from the rain.
Title-winner Rodri sported a bow tie for the event at the Opera House, Manchester, while long-term girlfriend Laura Iglesias was seen in a sleeveless dress.
Young Player of the Year nominee Joao Pedro was seen alongside his partner as she held a tiny juxtaposing white handbag with a long black dress.
Stars who made the Championship Team of the Year and below also showed up.
Leicester defender Jannik Vestegaard was seen alongside wife Pernille Vennike as she wore an ankle-length dress.
Leeds star Ethan Ampadu was also seen with his partner Saara Sa who embraced the monochromatic style of the event.
Stockport star Ibou Touray and his plus one had a beaming smile, while Notts County star Daniel Crowley‘s plus one went for a gleaming white dress.
There were also show-stealing looks from presenters Alex Scott and Jules Breach, while Jill Scott caught the eye in a daring white suit.
