Ghanaian youngster Abass Issah joins FC Twente on loan from Mainz 05

FC Twente Enschede have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Abass Issah on loan from Bundesliga side 1.FSV Mainz 05, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.The 22-year-old is joining the Dutch Eredivisie side until the end of the 2020/2021 season in search of regular playing minutes.Issah has made only three appearances in all competitions for Mainz this season.He returned to Mainz in June 2020 after a successful loan spell at FC Utretcht in the Dutch top-flight in the 2019/2020 campaign.Issah made 22 appearances in all competitions where he scored 8 goals and provided two assists in the process.The Ghana U23 forward joined Mainz in August 2018 from Slovenian outfit NK Olimpija Ljubljana.The former Asokwa Deportivo FC star was a member of the Ghana squad at the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
