Ghanaian Stephan Ambrosius looking forward to facing ‘good friend’ Aaron Opoku

German-born Ghanaian defender Stephan Ambrosius is looking forward to facing his ‘good friend’ Aaron Opoku this weekend.Ambrosius and Opoku will come up against each other for the first time when Hamburger SV clash with Jahn Regensburg in Bundesliga II on Sunday.I’ve known Aaron for a long time, he’s a good friend of mine. We have more contact, said Ambrosius of the image .They had been teammates until last season when Opoku left Hamburger on loan.They both were born in Hamburg and started their careers at Hamburger, playing for the youth teams before graduating to the first team.Opoku returned to Hamburger after a successful loan spell at Hansa Rostock, only to be loaned to Jahn Regensburg.He was farmed out on loan again despite excelling in his first loan spell last term at Hansa Rostock.Opoku has a contract with HSV until June 2021, same as Ambrosius, who is eying Bundesliga promotion this season.
