Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey happy to win league title with Bulgarian top-flight side Ludogorets
Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey is delighted to have won his first career title with Bulgarian giants Ludogorets in his first season at the club.Ludogorets wrapped up the Bulgarian championship title with four games to spare following a 3-1 victory against Beroe on Tuesday.Kiril Despodov scored the opening goal of the game for Ludogorets in the 27th minute.Beroe got the equalizer in the 37th minute which was converted by Gaius Makouta.Bernard Tekpetey who started the game for Ludogorets was substituted in the 69th minute.Dominik Yankov put the home side in the lead in the 80th minute as they edged close to the league title.Claudiu Keseru sealed the win for Ludogorets in the 84th minute with his goal.Ludogorets after the win have taken a 14-point lead on top of the table.Bernard Tekpetey in a post on his social media handle after the win congratulated the team for the victory.”Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Tekpetey joined the Bulgarian side on a two-year loan deal from Schalke in the summer.He has made 22 appearances for the side and scored one goal in the ongoing campaign.This will be his first medal in his professional career at club level.
