Ghana coach C.K Akonnor in Cape Coast to watch Kotoko-Dwarfs GPL match

Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to get the finest locally based players in his team ahead of the Black Stars next international assignment in March.The ex-Ghana captains scouting continued today as he traveled to Cape Coast to watch Ebusua Dwarfs play Asante Kotoko in their outstanding Premier league game.It is the third game in succession being watched by the Ghana coach who has shown significant interest in the local league. Last week he was in Accra to watch Ahantigold beat Great Olympics before traveling to Obuasi to witness the match between Ashgold and Medeama.Akonnor will be watching right back Christopher Nettey who was part of his team for the AFCON qualifiers against Sudan last year.Whiles observing Nettey, the experienced gaffer will also be observing other players including Asante kotokos top scorer Kwame Poku.C.K Akonnor has invited several domestic players in his recent call ups including goalkeepers Raazak Abalora and Fatau Dauda of Kotoko and Legon Cities respectively.Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey earned his Black Stars debut under coach C.K Akonnor after playing in the AFCON qualifiers against Sudan.By Lukman Abdul Mumin
