Former Man Utd owner’s son gives away £250,000 Ferrari with ‘colossal power’ to lucky horse trainer
BILLIONAIRE racing titan and former Manchester United owner John Magnier watched as his son gave a lucky horse trainer the keys to a brand new £250,000 Ferrari.
The amazing initiative was the brainchild of Tom Magnier.

The winner of the Ferrari Roma had to buy a horse and see it win one of 16 selected races.
Only horses among the yearling crop of star stallion Justify – the unbeaten superstar of US racing who won connections £2,813,333 – were eligible.
But Tom, who is based in Australia, faced a dilemma after his horse Learning To Fly won the Inglish Millennium earlier this month.
Coolmore, the global racing operation Magnier Snr runs, own the horse.
Tom couldn’t hand himself the keys to the car – so instead gave them to winning trainer Annabel Neasham.

Annabel, who is from Croughton in Northamptonshire but now lives and trains in Australia, proudly posed for a photo with the jaw-dropping supercar.
The motor is said to ‘represent the pinnacle of performance’ and boasts a turbo-charged V8 engine.
It goes from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and one review said it combines ‘colossal power’ with ‘stunning looks’.
Tom tweeted ‘the Ferrari is gone’ after Learning To Fly’s victory in the Listed race – worth £671,186 to the horse’s owners.
However, he had to figure out who was going to get the car soon after.
He said: “We’re going to sit down this week and come up with a place.”
But sneakily referencing Annabel, he added: “If I was a police officer round Warwick Farm I’d be very careful and up early in the morning.
“There’s every chance you might see a red Ferrari zooming into work.”
Opening up on why he chose a Ferrari for the promotion, Magnier said: “Ferraris and Justify have so much in common.
“They are both fast, red, powerful and incredibly stunning.”
Justify covers around 200 mares a year at a cost of £83,000 a go.
That brings in roughly £16.6m a year – enough for 66 more brand new Ferrari Romas.
