Former Ajax midfielder Lasse Schone close to joining Boateng, Balotelli at AC Monza

Danish midfielder Lasse Schone is reportedly close to joining Kevin-Prince Boateng and Mario Balotelli at AC Monza.Monza are said to be close to an agreement with Schone, who will become the latest experienced player at the club.The Danish midfielder is at a dead-end at Genoa, having failed to make a single appearance this season. Genoa are therefore happy to sell him in January.The Italian Serie B club have invested in players, who have played at the highest level in their quest to secure promotion to the top-flight this season.Boateng joined them before the campaign followed by Mario Balotelli, who signed his contract early this month.With Schone joining Boateng, Balotelli and the youngsters, Monza can achieve their Serie A target.Monza are third in the league after 16 games.
