Winks, 27, has been ever-present in Enzo Maresca‘s team since his arrival.

The midfielder has played in all 14 of the club’s Championship fixtures so far this season.

He has now bagged his first goal as the former Premier League champions continue to dominate the division.

Winks fired a shot from distance into the top corner of the QPR goal in the 79th minute to hand Leicester the win the hosts had equalised.

Fans could not contain their excitement on social media, and they flocked to praise the former Spurs man.

Many supporters were also claiming that Winks was even better than England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, who had just netted a brace against Barcelona.

One fan exclaimed: “Might be a hot take but he’s actually the greatest midfielder of all time.”

Bellingham’s goals did leave Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger unsatisfied with his band sponsoring Barcelona for the match.

It took the Englishman’s record to 13 goals in 13 matches for Los Blancos, which has seen him break Zinedine Zidane’s record for number of goals in a single season for the LaLiga giants.
