FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S exhibition with YouTuber Deji has reportedly been thrown into doubt just an hour before the ringwalk.

The pair are due to box over eight exhibition rounds in Dubai, in just under an hour.

But according to The Mirror, Mayweather has demanded the fight be over three minute rounds, not two, with 10oz gloves worn.

The bout is contracted to 14oz gloves over eight, two minute rounds.

And with the dispute ongoing, it leaves the fight still in jeopardy.

Deji’s friend Ryan Taylor revealed there was a dispute over the gloves earlier in the week.

He told Fred Talks Fighting: “Deji’s got a way of surprising people, we’ll see what happens. Deji’s got power man.

“We were literally just talking about it there and having a joke about it because there were some conversations about 10oz gloves.

“Everyone’s been talking about gloves but yeah, Deji’s tough. We’re going to see what happens.”

Mayweather, 45, is boxing in his fifth exhibitions since officially retiring in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34.

He hit the scales at 70kg, or 11 stone, which is his second highest weight ever.

Deji, 25, was up just before and came it at 79.5, or 12st 5lb to take a much needed weight advantage into the bout.
