Fans spot Premier League have EDITED OUT Ivan Toney from 2022/23 ‘memorable goals’ clip
EAGLE-EYED fans have spotted that the Premier League appear to have edited out Ivan Toney’s name in a new video showing last season’s best goals.
The 27-year-old scored 21 in 33 appearances for Brentford last season before he was hit with an eight-month ban for betting.

He was also diagnosed with a gambling addiction after admitting 232 offences.
Toney is now prevented from playing until January 16 and is unable to train with his club until September.
The ban infuriated both Bees boss Thomas Frank and England manager Gareth Southgate.
Now further salt has been rubbed in his wounds after the Premier League’s social media team appear to have erased him from their latest video.
Their social media accounts posted a montage of great goals from last season and included one strike from each club.
Brentford’s came in their memorable 4-0 demolition of Manchester United back in August.
Bryan Mbeumo slotted home after being set up by Toney.
During the original commentary, the England striker’s name is mentioned by the commentator in the build-up to the goal.

However, during this new footage shared by the Premier League, many viewers quickly noticed that the commentary goes silent where it should mention the banned star.
“Fancy muting Ivan’s name,” responded one fan.
Another called it “beyond pathetic” in an angry tweet.
And a fellow Bees follower asked: “What’s the reasoning behind muting Ivan Toney’s name?”
FIFA 23 also recently removed Toney in the latest update to leave supporters outraged.
Toney recently revealed that his “biggest punishment” was worse than the ban as he slammed it as a “spiteful” decision.
His charges related to a four-year period between February 2017 and January 2021 when the striker was playing for Scunthorpe and Wigan – on loan from Newcastle – and subsequently Peterborough and the Bees.
