Fans in hysterics as they spot Aaron Ramsdale’s cameo as referee delays Arsenal vs Liverpool clash
FOOTBALL fans were left in stitches after spotting Aaron Ramsdale’s bizarre cameo during Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool.
The England international, 25, has started just one Premier League game since September as he continues to play second fiddle to David Raya.
Aaron Ramsdale started getting wound up at referee Anthony Taylor after he had a technical issue
Fans were confused as to why the Arsenal shot-stopper was raging
But he still attracted attention from the bench at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Referee Anthony Taylor momentarily stopped the game to sort out his watch and earpiece as he jogged over to the touchline to receive assistance from the fourth official.
But in the background you could see Ramsdale getting irate at the stoppage in play.
He could be seen becoming frustrated as he threw his arms up in the air.
Ramsdale then appeared to shout: “Hurry up. F***ing hell.”
He then tapped his wrist as if to suggest the official was taking too long.
And many on social media found the clip utterly hilarious.
One said: “Please tell me someone can see Ramsdale screaming at Anthony Taylor in the background? ”

Another added: “Can Ramsdale just chill out… his watch strap has broken!”
A third replied: “Ramsdale shouting ‘hurry up’ in the background whilst the ref is sorting his earpiece out .”
While a fourth responded: “What is wrong with Ramsdale ffs? He’s not time wasting, he’s the ref!!”
Ramsdale has featured just 10 times for Arsenal this season, with his only appearance since mid-December coming in a 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Liverpool last month.
