FA Cup second round tie POSTPONED after pitch inspection following extreme weather sparking fears for weekend clashes

THE FA Cup second round clash between Crewe and Bristol Rovers has been postponement.

It comes after a pitch inspection found the ground to be unsafe earlier today.

The game was due to take place tomorrow, December 2, at 3pm.

However, at 1:15pm today an EFL referee deemed the pitch at Mornflake Stadium to be unsafe following an inspection.

A statement from Crewe said the pitch had been hit by a “prolonged spell of sub-zero weather conditions this week.”

But the new fixture for the date has already been revealed.
