EXCLUSIVE: Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah nears Udinese switchÂ
Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is close to joining Italian side Udinese in the January transfer window.The 32-year old has been without a club since terminating his contract with Inter Milan in the summer.According to Tuttosport, talks are far advanced between the two sides over a possible move this month.Udinese is also keen on re-signing the Ghanaian International to beef up their squad for the second half of the season.Udinese signed Kwadwo Asamoah in 2008 from Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals.He was an integral part of the Udinese side before his big-money move to Italian giants Juventus in the 2012/13 season.Asamoah played five seasons for Udinese between 2008 to 2012, where he made 134 appearances and scored eight goals.Serie A side Sampdoria are also interested in capturing the signature of the former Juventus wing-back.A move in the summer transfer window failed to materialize and the Italian side may also be looking to complete a deal this January.
