Justin Gabriel still wrestles, just with a very different look.
During an interview with PWMania Gabriel, who now performs under the name PJ Black, sported an enormous beard.
Such was the length of his facial hair, that he has had it plaited.
Gabriel, now 42, also wears an elaborate moustache, curled at each side.
During the interview he talked about his dramatic new look, saying: “I didn’t plan on growing this beard during lockdowns, I kind of just grew a little goatee unto a point.
“And it just started growing and growing… I even cut a bit off every week.
“And I was like this will work for this new character that I’m trying to launch.
“This Dr. Darewolf shaman character, which I have not yet… fully pulled the trigger on, but I’ve dropped some hints on it.
“So it kind of works. So let’s see where it goes.”
Seeing Gabriel’s new look, one fan wrote on Instagram: “whhhaaaattt.”
While a second exclaimed: “WHAT”.
A third commented: “Wtf”.
