Ex-Rangers star reveals shock moment he HEADBUTTED Helen Chamberlain on Soccer AM
KEVIN KYLE may not be from Glasgow but he gave Soccer AM host Helen Chamberlain a Glasgow kiss to remember when he appeared on the footy-themed show.
Sky announced last week that the fans’ favourite programme would be coming to an end after nearly 30 years.

It was Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy who presented the show in its heyday, which featured comedy sketches based around the previous week’s football action, with footballers being regular guests alongside musicians, actors, musicians and other famous personalities.
One such guest was former Rangers, Kilmarnock and Scotland striker, Kevin Kyle.
The man from Stranraer appeared on the show while he was at Sunderland.
It would be his one and only outing in the Soccer AM studio, however.
As he and his Open Goal podcast cohorts reminisced about their memories of the series on their latest episode, Kyle surprised them all when he revealed he’d been on the famous sofa.
He said: “I was on Soccer AM.”
To which a shocked Simon Ferry replied: “As a guest? No way? In what year?”
“2003, 2004 maybe. It was me, Freddie Flintoff and Steve Harmison,” said Kyle.
“Only been doing this show six years and this is you just telling me, brilliant,” chirped Ferry, before Kyle went on to send his co-hosts into fits of laughter with his crazy story.
He said: “I came in and shook Helen and Tim Loveyjoy’s hands.
“When Helen came up I said ‘Hello, I’m Sunderland’s number nine, Kevin Kyle’.
“I went to shake her hand and give her a wee kiss and I HEADBUTTED her!
“Went in, she went one way and I went the same way and I f****** headbutted her!”
Fellow podcaster and ex-Rangers man Andy Halliday also spoke of his time on the show.
He took part in the popular You Know The Drill segment with current presenter Jimmy Bullard, in which he travels around the country taking part in challenges on the training ground of different football teams.
Halliday didn’t enjoy his time in front of the Sky cameras though, and threw shade at then-Gers coach David Weir for the drill he selected.
He said: “He (Bullard) beat me. S*** challenge though.
“David Weir picked the worst challenge ever, hit the crossbar and then header it in the net when it came out. No technique involved!”
