“Massive respect between club and player but he’s leaving in June, decision made.

“Sergi Roberto could also leave for free but the final decision will also depend on Xavi’s future.”

Alonso arrived at the La Liga giants on September 2 and made his debut just eight days later in the 4-0 win at Cadiz in the league.

And in his debut season, he won the league title under boss Xavi.

The ex-Bolton star has made 44 appearances and scored three goals during his 18 months at Barca.
