Ex-Arsenal star Ozil shows off ‘phenomenal’ body transformation and bulging biceps with even Cristiano Ronaldo impressed

MESUT OZIL has impressed Cristiano Ronaldo with his huge body transformation.

The former Arsenal star announced his shock retirement aged 34 last March after closing his career in Turkey.

After posting a video of himself training, Ozil attracted attention from his former team-mate Ronaldo.

The Portuguese, himself a huge gym-rat, commented: “Bro not bad.”

Ronaldo, 39, followed his comment up with a wink emoji.

Ozil, 35, captioned his post: “Always stay ready, then you don’t need to get ready.”

The German received over one million likes, with plenty of other footballers past and present leaving comments.

Rio Ferdinand wrote: “Looking strong bro.”

While Antonio Rudiger called him a “beast”.

Franck Ribery left a heart emoji.

And former Brazil star Ze Roberto added: “Machine.”

Newly-bulked up Ozil could be back in action this summer.

The Over-35 World Cup is set to kick off in England in June.

It is set to feature a star-studded line-up, with Ozil on Germany‘s draft list alongside the likes of Sami Khedira and Kevin Kuranyi.
