AWED observers claim Erling Haaland showed why he’s “the top scorer” as the goal machine posed with the “World Cup’s sexiest” fan in Ibiza.

Many reckon the Manchester City hitman has bettered a 52-goal season of Treble joy by relaxing on holiday with Croatia super-supporter Ivana Knoll.

Haaland wore a smile that was dangerously close to smug in a sunny snap Ivana shared with her 3.3million Instagram followers.

Admittedly, the Norwegian slightly tarnished his winning moment by wearing huge white-rimmed sunglasses.

But companion Ivana made up for Haaland’s facial faux-pas by looking sultry in a green-and-yellow striped crop-top and a khaki mini-skirt.

Inevitably, fans online responded by piling in with references to Haaland’s astonishing strike rate.

One posted: “Haaland is still a top scorer even on holidays.”

Others weighed in with comments like “The man just can’t stop scoring” and “Erling scoring on and off the pitch”.

Haaland will find it tough to match last season’s feats.

But one cheeky fan reckons the 22-year-old should go for bust by targeting the world player of the year award.

Noting Ivana’s low-plunging top, he pushed the boundaries by asking: “Haaland already has two Ballon d’Or??? “

Ivana burst to fame at last winter’s World Cup in Qatar with her colourful backing for home country Croatia.

Her Instagram following went up nearly six-fold from 600,000.
