EPL: Chelsea Manager, Tuchel Speaks On Replacing Rangnick At Man United
English Premier League club coach, Thomas Tuchel, has said he is enjoying his current manegerial job at Chelsea.
The German football manager stated this while reacting to speculation he is interested in dumping the club to join Manchester United.
Reports have claimed that Tuchel is currently number one on Manchester United’s list of coaches to possibly replace its Interim manager, Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford, Naija News understands.
The Red Devils’ search for a new permanent manager is set to intensify in the coming weeks following their Champions League exit.
Coaches in its list are said to include Mauricio Pochettino of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Erik ten Hag of Ajax.
However, due to current ‘woes’ with Chelsea, Man United is hopeful of the potential availability of Tuchel, who has rebuilt his reputation with the Blues following his difficult end to his spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
“Do you feel me less committed or involved with this club. Absolutely not.
“I love to work for Chelsea and this club has everything it needs to make me happy,” Tuchel told journalists while speaking ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal player, Paul Merson has asserted that Liverpool will not win the ongoing English Premier League campaign.
Naija News reports that Jurgen Klopp’s side on Wednesday night beat Arsenal 2-0 in the EPL.
The win helped the Reds to move a point closer to Manchester City.
The match is, however, a setback to Mikel Arteta’s side as the Gunners will now have to beat Aston Villa to keep their hope of a top-four alive.
Speaking, however, on Sky Sports shortly after Liverpool beat Arsenal on Wednesday night, Merson said City will still go on to win the Premier League.
