Enzo Fernandez transfer news – next club odds: Liverpool lead Chelsea as Man Utd odds drift, City & Arsenal in mix
LIVERPOOL are emerged as frontrunners to sign World Cup sensation Enzo Fernandez in the January window.
That’s according to bookmakers Sky Bet, who have Jurgen Klopp’s men at the top of a five-team Premier League pile to sign him.

Fernandez started the tournament as a bit-part player before playing every minute of their incredible knockout run.
The Anfield side were already admirers of the 21-year-old midfielder before he won Young Player of the World Cup in Qatar this winter.
His stock has risen significantly as a result and is now one of the most sought-after players in world football.
As a result, current employers Benfica aren’t believed to be in any rush to sell and are holding out for his extraordinary £105million buy out clause in his contract, which still has over four years on it.
That would force the Premier League sides to break the current £100million transfer record.
Liverpool – close to wrapping up the signature of fellow World Cup starlet Cody Gakpo – are the 2/1 favourites with Sky Bet to sign Fernandez, too.

Klopp is desperate to bolster his midfield ranks, and will need to with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner all out of contract next summer.
They just edge out Chelsea (5/2) as the favourites, with the Blues also keen to add to their midfield options.
Manchester United are 13/2, with reports earlier this month suggesting they were happy to meet the player’s buy out clause.
Erik ten Hag has options in midfield but Fernandez’s introduction would bring an extra dynamic to their play as they chase a top four finish.
Manchester City are also thought to be on the lookout for reinforcements in midfield and are among the favourites to sign Jude Bellingham.
They are 18/1 to instead turn their attention to the Argentine.
Arsenal are the outsiders of the pack at 25/1.
