Raducanu was eating at Gaia Restaurant in Mayfair

Raducanu could be seen heading home after a bite to eat in expensive Mayfair restaurant Gaia.

The fancy food establishment boasts a crazy menu with £340 caviar, £230 steak and £130 chicken.

Raducanu smiled as she left the restaurant alongside her friends ahead of a big week for her career.

The one-time Grand Slam winner is set for a return to action for Great Britain at the Billie Jean King Cup in France.

She hasn’t played since pulling out of the Miami Open last month citing lower back injuries as the reason for her exit.

The Canada-born star said: “I have been experiencing lower back pain and at this stage of my return to competition I don’t want to risk anything happening.

“I really tried my best to be ready and I’m sad to be pulling out of Miami as it’s a cool tournament but I wish the event all the best.”

It’s been a turbulent year for Raducanu who had previously missed 259 days of tennis following operations on both her wrists and one ankle.
