Dele Alli returns to Besiktas training one day after being accused of going AWOL by boss as career continues to stall
DELE ALLI has returned to training with Besiktas despite being accused of going AWOL by manager Şenol Güneş.
The former Tottenham star was reportedly recently banished from the Turkish side’s playing squad, but he rejected that was the case.

Alli took to social media to state that he had missed a training day in order to go to a club-approved doctor’s appointment.
In his post, he said he would be back in training and true to his word, he was back preparing for the Turkish outfit’s next game.
The accusations of him going AWOL came after he met Kim Kardashian last Friday.
Dele had his picture taken with Kim’s seven-year-old son Saint, the morning after she had taken her boy to watch Arsenal’s Europa League defeat to Sporting Lisbon at Emirates Stadium.
This led to Turkish outlet Takvim claiming that Gunes will not include him in any matchday squads for the remainder of the season and that he has been told he will watch from the stands until he can return to Everton.
Dele left Spurs for Everton in January 2022.
He helped the Toffees survive the drop last season, before being ditched by Frank Lampard‘s side last August after two sub appearances this term.
The former two-time PFA Young Player of the Year arrived in Turkey to much fanfare, but has struggled to make much of an impact.

He has made 15 appearances for the Turkish giants, scoring three times.
Dele has not been included in Besiktas’ matchday squad for their last three matches.
His last appearance was a start against Antalyaspor on February 26, during which he was substituted at half-time.
