DAVID BECKHAM’S locks have chopped and changed over the years – but he’s always been able to spot an hair-apparent.

The England legend has posted a throwback snap of a curly-haired kid whose own career has since weaved magic.

Even then the lad had a look of quiet belief that’s been the hallmark of his days at Manchester United and beyond.

Fans might be surprised at how willowy the star appeared to be.

But he had a hunger that seemed to burn deep in his eyes.

Like Becks, he’s now something of a fashion figure.

And he too has varied his hairstyle but never his dedication.

Some supporters will recognise that focus on his face.

He’s also one of the few players that 115-cap midfielder Beckham looked up to on the pitch.

But now back at Old Trafford, he could get a parting – after a fringe role this season.

But Becks uncovered the photo on Instagram to help salute the striker’s latest astonishing milestone.

And although the schoolboy snap might have been a mystery for some, his record shows there’s no puzzle over why he’s regarded as a GOAT.

Ex-Sporting Lisbon starlet Cristiano Ronaldo has been mainly a sub under Erik ten Hag.

But the Portugal hero, 37, came off the bench on Sunday to hit his 700th club goal.

That helped the Red Devils sink Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park and go fifth.

And perhaps Becks’ old pic of Ron on Instagram was another hint the Inter Miami owner wants to take him into the MLS.

Beckham left Old Trafford in 2003 just as Ronaldo arrived for his first spell – but two decades later they could be united.
