David Alaba Joins Real Madrid On Five Year Contract
Twenty-eight years old Austrian professional footballer, David Olatukunbo Alaba, better known as David Alaba has joined Real Madrid.
Naija News understands that the player joined Madrid on a five year deal from Bayern Munich after spending 13 years playing for the Bundesliga club.
“Real Madrid has reached an agreement with David Alaba, who will be linked to the club for the next five seasons,” a statement by Real Madrid read.
Naija News understands that Alaba will be presented as a Real player after Euro 2020. The player had won two Champions League trophies and 10 league titles among other silverware with Munich.
Alaba had said in February that he would leave Bayern when his contract expires at the end of the season after 13 years with the German club.
Announcing his move to Madrid in a post on his verified Twitter account, Alaba wrote: “I leave a special club for another special club. I am really happy and honoured to join Real Madrid. After so many years in Munich, I will face a new challenge and I will give my best to continue the club’s special history.”

Meanwhile, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said there is zero chance for Thomas Tuchel’s side in their clash in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
Speaking to Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, on his YouTube channel, the City boss vowed not to lose again to Chelsea.
