The Nuke immediately bounced back from his semi-final defeat to Michael Smith on Night Six of Premier League Darts to earn a place on the second day in Wieze.
The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Dave Chisnall and Luke Humphries have all advanced into the second round of the Belgian Open, which resumes on Saturday and runs until Sunday.
World No1 Humphries enters the tournament having won the Premier League night six in Brighton after beating Smith 6-3 in an epic final on Thursday.
