Littler, 16, shocked the sporting world as he made it all the way to the final in his debut appearance at the competition.
The teenager suffered heartbreak in the final as now world No.1 Luke Humphries claimed the crown with a 7-4 win.
Following the match, Littler and Humphries have been doing the rounds on television as darts gripped the nation.
During an appearance on Sky Sports News, Littler was asked by presenter Emma Paton about his life outside of darts.
She revealed that he was a fan of Football Manager and is currently enjoying a simulation in charge of his beloved Red Devils.
Paton, a United fan herself, said that Littler had the club in second place in the Premier League, six spots better than the actual team.
However, his success in the game has not come from signing the world’s best players as he has kept the same team that is currently playing.
Littler was asked if he would do anything different to Erik ten Hag if he had the actual job.

He said: “To be fair, I didn’t even know how to buy players, so I just kept the same line up.”
Littler was then asked about who he would sign for United during the January transfer window.
He insisted that he would like to see the club go after Napoli star Victor Osimhen despite the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund.
Osimhen has become one of the best strikers in Europe in the last two years and would likely command a fee of over £120million.
He recently signed a new contract with Napoli that will run until 2026.
