Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson provides ‘concerning’ injury update on Jeffrey Schlupp

(Photo by Clive Rose/Getty Images)Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has expressed his concern over the injury picked up by Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp during their 2-0 victory against Sheffield United on Saturday.Schlupp put the Eagles ahead with a deflected strike bit could not finish the game as he was forced off with an injury.The Ghana international was replaced by youngster Eberechi Eze who madean immediate impact with a spectacular solo goal just before halftime.Speaking after the game, Hodgson declared his worry over the injury suffered by the versatile 28-year-old attacker.”Jeff Schlupp is more concerning as it is definitely a muscle injury,” he said as quoted by the club’s official website.”He felt a hamstring pull. It looks like were going to miss him for a while and thats unfortunate because hes been doing very very well for us.”Schlupp has made 15 league appearances, scored two goals and provided one assist so far this season.
